A few specific fixes for stamford.townandcountrylaw.legal

Town & Country Law Stamford · 12-13 Stamford Walk · website rebuild

I rebuild small-business sites in my spare time when I can see they are leaving conversions on the table. Three things stood out on stamford.townandcountrylaw.legal when I opened it on my phone in a coffee shop. Three findings below, a fixed price, and a working rebuild you can click through.

Three findings, in order of revenue impact

What the current site is leaving on the table.

A walk-through of the live stamford.townandcountrylaw.legal on 25 May 2026.

01

The free home appointment, the single biggest differentiator over a high-street solicitor, never lands above the fold.

Observation
The Stamford branch homepage opens with the line "Get peace of mind with a professionally prepared Will from a trusted, local company" and a £99 single-will price. Nowhere in the first viewport on mobile or desktop does the homepage say that a Qualified Legal Consultant will come to the customer's kitchen table, free of charge, for the first appointment. The "free home appointment" line is the most-mentioned positive in Trustpilot reviews of the East Anglia consultants (Derek Lawrence, Daniel Howard, Jimmy Cunningham) and the live homepage does not mention it. The customer choosing between Town & Country Law and a high-street solicitor on the corner of All Saints Place is choosing between "go to the office" and "we will come to you" , and the homepage does not say that.
After rebuild
After rebuild: hero strap reads "Estate planning at your kitchen table, in Stamford or by video. Free home appointment with a Qualified Legal Consultant." The three appointment formats sit as a three-pill row directly under the hero (Your home , free, anywhere in East Anglia / At Stamford Walk / By video call). The choice the customer is actually making between Town & Country Law and the high-street is finally on the homepage.
02

The og:image on every shared link is the dark wordmark SVG, so WhatsApp, iMessage and Facebook unfurls render as an empty grey card.

Observation
The Stamford branch homepage source declares og:image as /wp-content/uploads/2025/01/tcl-dark.svg , the dark version of the company wordmark. When a customer shares stamford.townandcountrylaw.legal in WhatsApp or pastes it into a Facebook DM to a sibling who is going through the same estate-planning conversation, the link unfurls as a flat grey card with a tiny black logo, not a photo. The Stamford Walk shopfront photographs (the painted black wordmark on white render, under a Georgian-stone surround) and the open-plan reception with the framed county maps are unused. The single most-shared moment in a customer's journey , the "look at this, I think we should book them" message to a partner , lands in the recipient's inbox as an unfurl that looks broken.
After rebuild
After rebuild: og:image is the Stamford Walk shopfront photograph at 1200x630, served from /img/og.jpg. og:title, og:description, twitter:card="summary_large_image" all populated with the real branch address, the Stamford Walk pin, and the 01780 430390 phone. The WhatsApp share now lands as a card with a recognisable photograph of the front door.
03

The "trusted by over 70,000 customers" and the £2.5m per-client insurance sit in plain prose with no LegalService or LocalBusiness schema , so Google cannot surface the firm against "wills Stamford" or "estate planning Lincolnshire".

Observation
A crawl of stamford.townandcountrylaw.legal finds application/ld+json blocks for Organization, WebPage and BreadcrumbList only. No LegalService. No LocalBusiness. No PostalAddress on PE9 2JE. No telephone in E.164. No openingHoursSpecification across Mon to Fri. No AggregateRating on the Trustpilot 4.9 across 958 reviews. No FAQPage on the home-appointment-vs-office or the price-of-a-trust questions customers actually arrive with. The 12-year trading record, the East Anglia entity active since 2016, the £2.5m per-client professional indemnity, and the external Tax-Barrister and KC review process , all of it lives in human-readable prose only. Google's answer panel for "wills Stamford" therefore ranks the directory aggregators and the national chains ahead of the only Qualified-Legal-Consultant firm on Stamford Walk.
After rebuild
After rebuild: a single JSON-LD @graph at build time with LegalService + LocalBusiness, full PostalAddress on PE9 2JE, telephone +441780430390, openingHoursSpecification Mon to Fri 09:00 to 17:00, aggregateRating 4.9 from 958 reviews, plus a FAQPage block answering the questions the kitchen-table appointments actually start with. The Stamford long-tail starts surfacing the right firm.

If the proposal lands, reply with two or three twenty-minute slots in the next ten days for a video call. I take on three Lincolnshire builds this quarter, and first confirmed wins the slot. If I do not hear back by 4 June 2026, the proposal site comes down.
